You know winter is over when spring birds arrive.  Nice to see them and hear their songs.  Here is a collection of may favourite photos from the past few weeks. All images where only process and cropped in camera.  Click the image to enlarge.

For some different scenery, I stopped by Fish Creek Park in Calgary and walked the trails. Trails like this just pull you in to explore the area!

The male Common Merganser was found in this pond search for dinner. He would appear and then disappear under the water for maybe 30 seconds only to reappear somewhere else in the pond.

Waiting along side the pond, he eventually came closer and then showed off his wings.

I had seen Trumpter/Tundra Swans few weeks back, but never made it out to photography them.

Hope you enjoyed the photos and have a wonder spring.
